A Meeting Of The Local Governing Body

Six times a year, the Local Governing Body meets. The governors hold the school leaders to account for the decisions that are made in school. They make sure the curriculum is strong and supports the visions and values of the school. Items on tonight’s agenda included a presentation about the new Ofsted framework, a look at the new Self Evaluation Form that the senior leadership team have been working on, and reports from the recent visit that a group of governors made to school. The governing body give up their time as volunteers to support the school and are valued critical friends that help us deliver the highest standards of education.
