Term 4
Giving our partner compass directions around a map of London!
Welcome to Term 4! Our topic this term is 'London'. We will be looking at where London is on a map, comparing London past and present and learning about The Great Fire of London.
In English we are going to start the term finishing our sentence stacking unit based on the book 'The Emperor's Egg'. We will then move on to reading 'The Vanishing Lake' and will write our own alternative ending to the story.
In Maths we will be starting our new unit on Multiplication and Division.
In Science we will be learning about Plants and Growing.
Week 1. Our new science topic is Plant Growth and Health. We enjoyed planting some cress seeds which we will be watching over the next few weeks. The seeds will be kept in different growing conditions.
