Term 6
Week 6 - Our last full week in Kestrels has been so busy! We started off the week with a fun pyjama day which we all really enjoyed. Throughout the week we have made some beautiful minibeast collages and a yummy fruit salad. We have also been learning about money in Maths and writing our own 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' stories but choosing our own minibeast to write about! Then, we ended the week with a fantastic sports day!
Week 5 - We have had such a fun week doing lots of Art! We drew sketches of minibeasts and created a watercolour background ready to make a minibeast collage next week. We also wrote fantastic minibeast riddles in English and learnt about o'clock and half past times in Maths. We also enjoyed visiting our new classroom at the start of the week!
Week 4 - This week has been so busy but we have really enjoyed learning about road safety all week. We also created more spiral art which looks beautiful displayed in our classroom! We also visited forest school to look for minibeasts in our school grounds which all the children really enjoyed. It has been a super week!
Week 3 - We had so much fun creating our spirals in Art this week!
Our amazing day at Warwick Castle!
Week 1 - Maths photos from our first week back! We have been doing a lot of counting to 100 and using counting in 10s to help us count even quicker. We have also been writing non-fiction fact files about Warwick Castle in preparation for our trip next week!
