Welcome to Kingfishers Class - Year 2

The teaching team in Kingfishers are: 

Class teachers: Mrs Aitio (Mondays, Tuesdays, and alternate Wednesdays)

Mrs Tester (Thursdays, Fridays and alternate Wednesdays)

Reading books this term will be changed every Wednesday

Please could you continue to send your child in with their reading book every day so that we can read with them at school during the course of the week. 

We will also be sending home a list of spellings. These are common exception or 'tricky' words. We will learn and review these spellings weekly, although there will be no formal testing each week. If you are able to, please support your child at home by drawing attention to these 'tricky' words in their reading books, or by helping them to have a go at writing some of the words. 

General Information

• Please bring in wellies for use in the Science Garden and during wet playtimes
• Homework books will go home on Mondays
