Term 3
Week 5 & 6 - Thank you for all you support in making our Planes, Trains and Automobiles Exhibition a success. I'm sure you saw how busy all the Robins have been making their models. It has been a great term of getting to know each other and build relationships with the children.
Week 4 - This weeks learning and exploring
Exploring with push and thrust whilst testing our paper aeroplanes.
Week 3 - Robins have been learning about trains this week. We have also been looking at changes of state as we explored with water and ice in our garden. Well done to some of our Robins who shared their models and story books from home. On Sunday is Chinese New Year, we learnt about how they celebrate. Next week we will be learning about aeroplanes and we will be linking this with learning about China.
Term 3 week 2 - This week we have been learning about Automobiles. We looked at pictures of different automobiles and talked about the features that we observed on them as well as paint our own automobiles. In Maths we have been exploring numbers 6,7 and 8, looking at the different representations and what numbers make each of them. We also had a go at writing number sentences. In our book talk session we looked at the story Duck in the Truck.
Term 3 Week 1 - We have been busy exploring in our environment

Robins class have settled back into school very well and are very excited with learning about our new topic "Trains , Planes and Automobiles". We have been sharing what we already know and also asking questions e.g. "what is an automobile?". This term we will be sharing many stories relating to transport and travelling. If you have a story at home to share, we would love to read it during our Story time.
