We've been busy with other special things which are yet to be revealed soon. Have a lovely weekend and a special Mother's Day mums.
Week 3 - Another busy week of learning in Robins. We learnt about Neil Armstrong. We can share some facts about him e.g. where he was born, what he is famous for, what the spaceship he travelled in was called and what he did when he landed on the moon. We also role played being in a spaceship in our outdoor area and walking on the moon.
Week 2 - It's been a very busy week with World Book day as we had a visit from Naomi Joslyn an author who lives in our village. We also learnt about Oliver Jeffers who wrote some of the books that are linked to our topic Adventures above and under the clouds. 3 children from Year 6 also came to read an Oliver Jeffers book to us as we listened with great anticipation. We also wrote about our favourite book and drew some pictures.
Week 1 - Robins have started the term with an exciting art focus of Iris Scott's finger painting technique. We recreated our own paintings of Iris Scott's clouds. We have been learning how to self regulate by being observant and painting using a specific colour without touching any other colour.
