Term 1
We are so excited to welcome our amazing new Kingfishers this term. Our focus for the first few weeks will be settling into new routines and learning where things are. As well as how we show our school values in our classroom and the children and adults getting to know each other.
Term 1's Topic is 'Land Ahoy' starting with an exciting pirate theme and treasure hunt! Through the topic we will be reading and writing sea adventure stories, carrying out map work of the UK and seas, learning about famous explorers, the role of lighthouses and the RNLI and even singing a few sea shanties!
Pirate Day - We all completed the team challenge to build a raft for Captain Peg leg!
