Term 4
Our learning this term. We will have many visitors from the community who will visit and help us learn more about their roles.
Week 4 - This week we had a nurse and a cadet come to visit us. We learnt a lot about how cadets learn the different disciplines of the army and also how they help the communities they serve. We learnt how to check our pulse and how to perform a drill in the army. In Maths we learnt about 3 ways to make 10. On Friday the school had a visit from the Highways Maintanance Team. Also well done to everyone who entered the Red Nose Day Bake Off.
Today we headed out of school on a squelchy welly walk. We had to remember all about road safety and we all had to keep our friend safe. Talk to us about how we did this . . .
Week 3 - We enjoyed observing and painting and drawing daffodils as part of our observational art afternoon. We carefully chose the colours that we needed and used them to create our own pictures. On World book day we enjoyed sharing stories and dressing up in our favourite book character.
Week 2 - Thank you to both Dr Richards who came to visit Robins class and help us learn about their jobs as doctors and explore with their equipment and uniform. All the Robins have been very excited and have really engaged with the hospital role play.
Welcome back to all the Robins. We started off with a big delivery of new furniture for our classroom which will help enhance our social interactions, communication and development. Have a look at a few pictures below.
On Friday all the Robins brought a 'teddy' to school with them. Each Robin became a teacher, teaching their teddy; cutting and sticking numbers 1-10, making the alphabet using magnetic letters, how to make friends, enjoy a book or more, and playing around the new furniture and resources. The Robins class were amazing at teaching their Teddy's and lots of them were given stickers for excellent concentration! Super work Robin's.
