Falcons have worked so hard over the past few weeks, revising for their SATS assessments.  We are very proud of their attitude and growing confidence. The homework we have set has been selected so that the children can practise the key skills to help them gain confidence as they approach the assessments.  The help videos and presentations are still on Google Classroom for anyone who wants to refresh some of the key skills.

The SATS tests take place on the week beginning 8th May.  Usually, they are timetabled from Monday to Thursday. However, due to the bank holiday on 8th, they will start and finish a day later.  The timetable for the tests is as follows:

Tuesday 9th May: English grammar, punctuation and spelling papers 1 and 2

Wednesday 10th May: English reading 

Thursday 11th May: Mathematics paper 1 (Arithmetic) and paper 2 (Problem solving and reasoning)

Friday 12th May: Mathematics paper 3 (Problem solving and reasoning)

Thank you for your support in helping us to prepare your child for the assessment week. Mrs Greenough has kindly offered to prepare a cooked breakfast for the children next week to set them up for the day!
