Term 2
Week 7 - This week has been filled with Christmas fun! We have really enjoyed our Christmas dinner, playing party games at our Christmas party and being creative making Christmas cards!
Week 6 - This week has been so much fun as we performed and recorded our Nativity! We have also been retelling the Christmas Story in English, we acted it out first and then drew pictures of it before retelling it through some brilliant writing. In Maths we have been focusing on numbers 1 to 20 again and have been learning about tens and ones, comparing numbers and ordering numbers.
Week 5 - This week we have all written some fantastic instructions on how to clean our teeth. We have also been focusing on numbers to 20 in Maths and have been very busy rehearsing for our Nativity! We also did some super sorting of objects in Science based on their materials and properties.
Week 4 - This week we have been learning about Instructions in English and their key features. In Maths we have been learning how to subtract using a number line. We have also enjoyed making sliders and levers this week and our own learning time.
Week 3 - We have been writing stories in English and learning about subtraction in Maths this week. We have also really enjoyed playing with the leaves outside at playtime!
Week 2 - This week we have written more poems, practiced addition and made some awesome firework rockets!
Week 1 - This week we have been writing poems about Fireworks, practicing addition in Maths using the part-whole model and the number line. We have also made beautiful Firework chalk pictures!
