Week 5 - Castle building and jubilee celebrations!

Still image for this video

Week 5 - Today, I had the pleasure of going into Kestrels class to do some art work. Our focus was on texture and we went up to Forest School to find lots of different objects with interesting textures. We worked in teams and found all sort of things such as charcoal, logs and sticks, and leaves. We used oil crayons to make some nature rubbings using what we found and finished off with some watercolour paints. Miss Healy

Week 4 - This week we wrote our own fairy tales in English with the theme of 'The Three Little...' In Maths we have been learning about halves and quarters and in Science we learnt about carnivores, herbivores and omnivores. We have also painted the tea light holders we made in RE last week.

Week 3 - This week we have been looking at Rapunzel in English and division in Maths. We have also learnt about invertebrate and vertebrate animals and made clay tealight holders in RE.

Week 2 - This week we have been retelling the story of 'The Three Little Pigs' by writing and we have also started to plan a new chapter for 'The Three Little Pigs' imagining that there is a 4th pig. In Maths we have been looking at multiplication and we have now started our new topic all about Castles. We have also been enjoying using our outside area again in the lovely weather!
