Oxford Science Centre
Thursday 25th November
What a wonderful time we had at the fabulous Oxford Science Centre today! Everyone was so excited to be going on a school trip and it was incredible!
We spent the first part of the day in the classroom workshop looking at how to light up a light bulb with only a battery and tinfoil. We then tested circuit boards and tried to work on what was wrong with each of them. Some were't connected properly, some had a broken light bulb and some had the batteries the wrong way around. Then we went into the 'Exploration Zone' where there were so many incredible activities to do. You could look through the microscopes to view wires, our jumpers and even spiders legs! At the end of the day we went into the planetarium where we flew to the moon and gazed at the stars.
It was a lovely day out and the Wrens were brilliant.
