PE in Term 4

This term PE will be taught on Thursday and Fridays. Our Thursday lesson is gymnastics, focusing on flight. For this lesson, your child will need their black shorts, please ensure they are named and given to Mrs Knight to keep in school.

Friday's lesson will be taught Cricket and will be held outside. Your child doesn't need any additional clothing or footwear for this lesson, but if it is very cold they can wear a hat and gloves.

Architecture (Art)

This term, the Red Kites have been studying modern architecture as part of our Access Art curriculum. The children loved exploring houses and tiny homes looking for design features and concepts that they liked and making visual notes in their sketch books. They used rulers to draw designs they had studied and then created their own plans for their modern home. These were then made into 3D models using polystyrene sheets. The Red Kites used ink and paint to finish their homes.
