Website and Apps

We use a range of websites and apps that support our learning in school and at home (either for homework or home learning). All are free for children to use but may require logging in with a password.

 

Google Classroom

Each child has a Google account with gives them access to Google Classroom and a range of apps such as GoogleDocs (Word). This is used for setting homework and home learning. 

Username = firstname and initial e.g. lucyb@suttoncourtenayprimary.co.uk

Password = sutten12

Sometimes a class code is needed for Google Classroom = 

 

Short 'How to' videos on YouTube can help pupils and parents understand how to use Google Classroom and associated apps.

 

Doodle Learning

This is a free app on a tablet or smart phone or can be accessed directly from the website. All children have individualised learning accounts for maths, times tables, English and spelling.

Sometimes the username has a 0 after it e.g. lucyb0

NumBots

Some children also have access to the NumBots website which supports the understanding of number and number facts.

National Oak Academy

To support our children in the event of home learning, we have aligned much of our curriculum to the National Oak Academy. No log-in is required for this website.

Teachers will advise children if they need to use this website.
