• House Fun Run

  Today all the children in Years 1-6 completed a fun run, earning points for their house.  The Year 6 Sports Leaders had planned the event and set up the course with Mrs Knight.  The children completed as many laps of the course as they could in the time, which included climbing under cargo nets and over tyres.  Everyone had a great time, used up loads of energy, and got quite muddy!  Well done to everyone.

• Power returns to school

  After our very eventful day without electricity yesterday (12th October), calm returned to school today.  We were all so proud of the way everyone worked together to manage without the lights and internet - we all had to be very inventive!  However, lots of lovely learning still went on, and it showed us all that we are not as dependent on technology as we think.  The children behaved very sensibly throughout the disruption, including when all the alarms went off.  Well done everyone, and lets hope for a less eventful week to finish the half term.
